Your quilts are absolutely beautiful. I have no stories to contribute because my kids are just regular kids -- no RAD, bipolar, ADHD, etc. I once made the grave error of referring to them as "normal" in a comment on a blog belonging to a woman whose son is severely autistic and I was severely berated by other commenters who took umbrage at the term. I guess they thought I was implying that their kids aren't normal but really, they're not. However, we live in an Orwellian age of political correctness when a child who used to be called normal is now considered "neurotypical."
