On a good day, parenting will test the integrity of your character. On a bad day, parenting will test your will to live. Parenting children with trauma histories will cause you to test the integrity of everything and everyone you thought you knew, for the rest of your life.

calling my followers

It's been fun to track my readers using sitemeter. Some of you live close by. VERY close. Some of you live quite far. VERY far. Still, it's fun! I only have an average daily readership of 126 people but I'm very glad to have all of you.  Some of you have become very special to me and I lament that we are so far apart by mileage.  One day.  One day we'll hug each other and drink coffee into the wee hours. Maybe in March one year, headed on the RAD mom weekend getaway that Corey lovingly orchestrates for us?  (BTW Corey, how you gonna manage that when you're in NH this year?)

ANYWAY  (I ramble, sorry) because sitemeter only provides IP addresses, I can't contact my readers that are not commenters and/or blogspot members. So here's a great big,

HELLO!

to all of you that don't comment but read regularly. And lastly, one quickie to the reader in Waynesboro, click my profile and email me direct if you please. We are in the VERY close category! :)

I love checking my Sitemeter stats! Its fun seeing where everyone is from. I have to admit, I read daily, but I'm not sure I've ever commented. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I can offer a whole lot of insight - just support. ;) But I did want to take the opportunity to de-lurk and give a shout-out from the great state of Kansas! :)

Hi! I don't think I would come up in your sitemeter because I get the feed to my email inbox, so I don't often come to the actual site, but I'm from Melbourne, Australia and I love your blog!

I'm not sure where I came across you first, it might have been welcometomybrain.net or I think more likely it was the Navigating the Maze girls (do you hear from them? Are they doing OK?).

I have 2 girls adopted from foster care, and I've learnt so much from your blog, even if I don't always understand the abbreviations LOL

Thanks for letting me learn from your life!

I definitely read all your new posts and you know I comment too. :) I'm all about the site meter thingy. I love seeing where my visitors come from. Sometimes I get obsessed with checking and then get sad when I make a new post and hardly have any readers. Speaking of which...when you get a chance, please check out my "plea" on my private blog and weigh in!

Oh, and to Possum Botts.... the abbreviations are half the fun! LOL. I like the challenge of trying to figure out what the heck people are referring to on the foster/adopt blogs. IFI...the intensive family intervention acronym...[did I get that one right?!] took me quite a while until at some point you defined it, Integrity. hehe

to corey - hooray!
to possum botts - I'll do a post on acronyms just for you! lol
to crayon - will do!

Hi, I'm a regular reader, not a commenter. I'm in a masters program for counseling and trying to learn from the masters - the parents who deal with their kids' problems on a daily basis. My plan is to specialize in helping adoptive families. So hello from KC.

I tried to eamil and can't get through. I'm a regular reader although I don't comment much. Trying to learn all I can as I deal with a wide variety of special needs on a regular basis. Keep up the good work.
